As an Urgent Care doctor for this central Napier clinic, you'll be served up all kinds of cases on the daily. Off duty, the range of things to do in the wider Hawkes Bay will easily feed your hunger for variety.

The Practice and the Team 
This urgent care centre is a cooperative, with a mix of staff doctors, locums, and rostered doctors from member practices. Supported by practice nurses, a clinical nurse manager and a capable team of admin staff, the clinic offers urgent health care, women, men and children’s health, Accidents and ACC consultations, Fracture clinic, personal health advice and health monitoring service.

Location
Napier is one of the main centres in Hawkes Bay, a sunny, horticulturally productive region on the east coast of NZ’s North Island. It's a 2 hour drive to Taupo, maybe 3 to the ski fields of Ruapehu, with regular connecting flights to Auckland and Wellington International airports.

Whatever you’re into, you’ll be sure to find it here. It’s easy to fill your days off in town, especially if the Art Deco Festival is on, but it’s equally easy to get out and about. Climb Te Mata Peak, visit any – or all – of the award winning local vineyards, cycle to Haumoana, and put a regular Sunday visit to the Farmers Market in your diary.

• You’ll have current – or be eligible for – full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• General Practice and Urgent Care experience
