This is a locum opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or GP with the potential of a permanent role. It's a rural clinic close to both Hamilton and Auckland. What's not to like about a closeknit community, an experienced and supportive team, and the natural environment on your doorstep?

The Practice and the TeamIn the middle of Tuakau township and 10mins from Pukekohe, this purpose built medical centre has 8 consult rooms and a nurse treatment area. The team is made up of GPs, NPs, Nurse Prescribers, Registered Nurses, Diabetic nurse clinics, Long term condition nurse clinic, Health Care Assistant, Paramedic, Health Coach and Health Improvement Practitioner and an amazing bunch that take care of Admin and Reception. They're a crew that pulls together whenever it's needed.
The LocationTuakau is rural town in northern Waikato, just a short drive from both Pukekohe and the Auckland–Waikato boundary. It's a 40 minute drive to Auckland airport for domestic and international flights. Enjoy easy access to outdoor highlights like Port Waikato’s surf beaches, scenic river spots, and a growing local café and artisan scene.
About you- Depending on your qualification, you will have current full registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand or MCNZ
- For the permanent opportunity, interested IMGs will be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Interest in rural health and supporting the needs of smaller communities
