There’s a certain pace in this nurse led clinic that allows for time and attention of a largely older patient demographic. And there's a place for a locum Nurse Practitioner who is looking for a collegial and collaborative environment, and scope to develop professionally in a supportive community.

The Practice and the Team

A small and strong practice where 20 minute appointments and 10 patients per session mean the experienced clinical team can attentively manage both the acute and long term conditions of an established roll of 2500.

Location
Masterton is the largest town in the Wairarapa, known for its friendly rural charm and easy access to outdoor adventures. Enjoy Queen Elizabeth Park’s gardens and lake, explore local art at Aratoi Museum, or head into the nearby Tararua Ranges for excellent tramping and mountain biking. The region also offers boutique wineries, farmers’ markets, and a gateway to the wider Wairarapa’s coastlines and countryside. It’s an hour’s drive or train ride to Wellington for bigger city vibes and domestic or international airport connections.

 

About You
  • You will have current full registration or be eligible for registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)  
  • You’ll be easy going, and comfortable working in a team environment
  • You’ll be keen to be part of a small, committed team making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the Masterton community
