Job Description
Let Balclutha whet your appetite for a fortnight in October, and leave room to ask for more til the end of 2025. This is an excellent locum opportunity to work with a closeknit and supportive team dedicated to the good health of the Clutha community.

THE PRACTICE and THE TEAM
This closeknit and supportive team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and administrators works together to provide great care for their patients.
The integrated health facility, built in the late 1990's in the heart of Balclutha, has 7 GP rooms, MAU, Resus, an inpatient ward with 14 beds, birthing unit, outpatients, community nursing OT. Laboratory, radiology and physio services are also onsite.
LOCATION
Clutha is a scenic district in South Otago, known for its welcoming communities, wide-open spaces, and laid-back lifestyle. Balclutha, the main service town, sits on the banks of the mighty Clutha River and offers everything you need for day to day living.
Outdoor lovers are spoiled for choice with easy access to the rugged Catlins coastline, waterfalls, wildlife, and bush walks. Dunedin is just over an hour’s drive away, and Invercargill around two.
