• Permanent General Practitioner
• 6/10 to 8/10
• Salary in the range of $220,000 and $260,000 pa FTE
• Masterton, Wairarapa

THE ROLE

• Full time General Practitioner
• Supervision available if you are a GPEP or working towards Vocational Registration
• One on call weekend every three months
• Interesting and varied clinical work
• Collegial environment

THE PRACTICE AND THE TEAM
This a large, progressive practice where opportunities to learn abound. It’s a highly qualified and experienced team with well established systems and a supportive atmosphere. Patients have access to the full range of health services with the location being on the hospital campus.

LOCATION
Masterton lies in the heart of the Wairarapa district. With a population of 55,000 it boasts a range of amenities – sports clubs, schools, churches and community groups – and offers many opportunities for lifestyle and family. You’ll find hiking and biking trails in every direction, as well as vineyards and olive groves, with charming places like Greytown and Martinborough to discover. It’s an easy train trip to Wellington for airports or a big city fix, and with a warm and temperate climate, nothing should stop you from getting out and about!

👉 Experienced GP or GPEP
👉 Registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
👉  Understanding of or willingness to learn Te Reo Me Ona Tikanga Maori (the language and its cultural practices)
👉 Exceptional communicator
