KS2 Supply Teacher
Bromley, London
Temporary (Supply)

An opportunity for a KS2 Teacher has become available at our partner school in Bromley (BR1).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to KS2 students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of all students, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Liaise with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
  • Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required.
  • Uphold the school's values and ethos, contributing positively to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is mandatory.
  • Proven experience teaching KS2 students.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to take on a variety of teaching assignments.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
