SEMH Teaching Assistant
Salary: £100 - £110 per day
Working Hours: 8am to 3:30pm
Monday to Friday

Student Focus: Supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs aged KS4 to KS5

Seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join the team. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs in Key Stage 4 to Key Stage 5.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing one-to-one and group support to students with SEMH needs
- Assisting with classroom activities and supporting students in their learning
- Implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Supporting students with their social and emotional development
- Encouraging independence and self-regulation skills

Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting emotional and behavioural difficulties
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs (SEN) are desirable
