Job Description

A well-known inclusive school is looking for experienced Learning Support Assistants to join the team on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in a classroom setting and a proven track record in a similar role within a primary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring their individual learning needs are met.
• Assist the class teacher in preparing and implementing lesson plans.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure an inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Help maintain a safe and positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a classroom setting.
• Experience in a similar role within a primary school environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting children's education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
