Qualified Chemistry Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in Chemistry.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and achievement.
• Collaborate with science colleagues to develop and share best practices in Chemistry teaching.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the school community.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is a plus).
• PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Chemistry.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and challenging learning environment for all students.
