Job Description

SEMH Nurture Teacher - KS3

Location: Croydon
Pay: £200 to £280 per day
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Nurture Teacher to join an outstanding SEMH school and lead KS3 nurture groups in Croydon. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across a variety of subjects, including English, Maths, PSHE, ICT, History, Geography, RE, and, in some cases, Science.

This school will consider unqualified Teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire nurture groups, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in special schools or challenging SEMH environments is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum and a passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications.
