Modern Foreign Languages Secondary Teacher (German and French)

Contract: Part-Time (0.6, three days per week)
Location: Secondary School, South London
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team on a 0.6 part-time basis (three days per week). The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both German and French to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to inspire a love for languages and fostering students' linguistic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both German and French, aligned with the curriculum and departmental goals.
  • Inspire students to develop their language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in German and French.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the MFL department and across the school to support a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Strong subject knowledge and fluency in both German and French.
  • Experience teaching languages at the secondary level, ideally including preparation for GCSE or equivalent exams.
  • Passionate about language learning, with a commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievement.
