We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Music to lead our music department and drive the musical development of our students. This permanent position, with an immediate start, offers a unique opportunity to take charge of an ambitious and vibrant music programme at a well-established secondary school in Greenwich.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the music department, overseeing curriculum planning and delivery across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire and support students to achieve their full potential in music, both academically and creatively
• Manage and develop a diverse range of extracurricular musical activities, including concerts, ensembles, and performances
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a broad, balanced, and enriching music education experience
• Mentor and support music staff, fostering a culture of excellence within the department

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
