Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a temporary position in Croydon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English and will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging English lessons.
- Supporting students with their learning on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Conducting assessments and tracking student progress.
- Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents on student performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or related fields.
Previous experience in a similar HLTA role is vital.
