Primary Classroom Teachers | Kingston upon Thames
Long-term role

An outstanding primary school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking dedicated and energetic Classroom Teachers to become part of their remarkable team. The perfect candidate will exhibit strong classroom management skills, a sincere enthusiasm for educating young students, and the capability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to primary school students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching primary school students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in curriculum development.
  • Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) strategies.
  • Ability to integrate creative arts and physical education into lessons.
  • Familiarity with assessment and reporting tools.
