I am currently recruiting for an Outstanding-rated secondary school in South London that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to join their thriving science department. This role offers the opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at A-Level (KS5). The school is recognised for its strong academic performance and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to students of varying abilities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and create effective assessment strategies.
• Track and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and interventions.
• Provide pastoral support as a form tutor, contributing to the school's inclusive culture.
• Engage in CPD opportunities and collaborate with the science department to maintain high standards.

Person Specification:

• QTS and relevant qualifications (e.g., PGCE) in Science.
• Experience teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
