Deputy Nursery Manager

About The Nursery:

They are a vibrant and nurturing pre-school located in the heart of Petts Wood, catering to 25 delightful children aged 2-4 years. Their mission is to provide a warm, stimulating environment where each child can thrive, explore, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the nursery, working closely with the Nursery Manager and their dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Promoting Their Philosophy and Aims: Uphold and champion the nursery's values and educational approach, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children, parents, and staff.
• Leading English Curriculum Development: Take charge of our English curriculum, infusing creativity and innovation into our activities to engage and inspire our young learners.
• Ensuring Compliance: Keep our policies and procedures up to date and compliant with the latest regulations, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety are maintained.

Requirements:

• Right to Work in the UK: You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Childcare Qualification: Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in childcare.
• Experience: Prior experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager in a nursery setting is essential.
