Opportunity to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant | Early Years (SW19)

Job Description:

A school in London (SW19) is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN TA to join a wonderful team.
The successful candidate will support children with special educational needs (SEN) in early years settings.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with SEN.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Support teachers in preparing and delivering lessons.
Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and record students' progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support children's development.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience working with children with special educational needs.
Knowledge of early years educational practices and strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Relevant qualifications or training in special education needs (desirable).

Contract Type: Temp to Perm
