Empower Every Learner: Join a team of dynamic teachers as a SEN Teaching Assistant!

Responsibilities:

• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) in their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student needs.
• Assist with classroom management and organisation.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and patience. Ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience working with children with SEN.
• Teaching Assistant qualification or similar is preferred.
