Are you an experienced Religious Education teacher ready for the next step in your career? Our school in Bexley seeks a dedicated Subject Lead of RE to join our Humanities department from September.

As a Subject Lead of RE, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering our RE curriculum, ensuring it is both inspiring and challenging. You will lead a committed team of educators, fostering a positive learning environment that nurtures students’ understanding and appreciation of diverse beliefs and values. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the RE curriculum planning and implementation.
• Support and mentor RE teachers within the Humanities department.
• Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in RE.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of students in RE.
• Promote the significance of RE within the broader school community.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Education or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching RE at the secondary level.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• A passion for engaging students in the study of Religious Education.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
