About Us:
We are working with an amazing SEN College based in Bromley that is dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for their students to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.

They are seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Pastoral Officer to support the broader pastoral needs of our students.

This College is an independent specialist further education college for disabled people aged 19-25.

Job Description:
As a Pastoral Officer, you will work collaboratively within a team of three to address the diverse pastoral needs of their student body. The role offers flexibility in tailoring responsibilities to suit the strengths and expertise of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pastoral support to students within a supportive team environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to address individual student needs.
  • Engage with students, offering guidance, and support to enhance their well-being and academic success.
  • Flexibility in assuming additional responsibilities related to the role's objectives and the candidate's expertise.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Background in either therapeutic or teaching fields.
  • Experience or training in Positive Behaviour Support or Physical Intervention (though not exclusive to behaviour management).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Working Hours:
Full-time, 5 days a week.

Salary:
Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
