Requirements:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Proficiency in IT
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills for effective student support
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to young people
  • Understanding of the Code of Practice and relevant legislation
  • Experience or awareness of issues related to students with barriers to learning

Responsibilities:

  • Support classes in various subjects to enhance student progress
  • Work with small groups and individual students on specific tasks
  • Provide support to students with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs
  • Facilitate task differentiation for students
  • Conduct catch-up and intervention sessions
  • Assist with guided revision and homework for specific students
  • Maintain a calm and orderly environment during lunchtime
  • Participate in school trips, ensuring a safe and educational experience for students
