Metal Polisher
Location: Tamworth
Shifts: Monday to Friday – 38 hours a week
Rate: £20.84 an hour Umbrella
Overtime available
Contract Length: 6 Months 

The Opportunity:

A leading manufacturer within the rail and transport sector is seeking an experienced Metal Polisher to join their team in Tamworth. The components you finish will be used in some of the world’s most advanced transport systems, directly contributing to the safety and reliability of millions of passengers.

 Key responsibilities:

• Perform high‑quality polishing on thin‑gauge aluminium and stainless‑steel components.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Ensure all work meets strict quality control, safety, and finish standards.
• Work collaboratively as part of a fast‑paced manufacturing and engineering team.

Candidate Essentials:

• Proven experience as a Metal Polisher within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in polishing, buffing, linishing, or finishing various metals.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing premium‑quality work.
