We’re looking for a talented Electrical Technician to ensure today’s rail systems run smoothly, safely, and reliably. If you thrive on tackling technical challenges, working with cutting‑edge diagnostics, and contributing to a team that delivers real impact, this could be your next move.

Your New Opportunity

As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be directly involved in maintaining a modern passenger train fleet, performing key servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, faultfinding, and repair tasks. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out electrical fault‑finding across complex rail systems
  • Replacing and installing electrical components
  • Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Completing mechanical repairs and rectification where needed
  • Uploading and updating onboard rail software systems
  • Working alongside a supportive, experienced, and close‑knit engineering team 

The Candidate

  • Electrical background with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience with IT systems, able to upload/download software updates.
  • Knowledge of fault finding and testing equipment; both mechanical and electrical.
  • Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
