Rail Sales Consultant / Client Relationship Manager
Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire (with some flexibility)
Salary: £45,000 + benefits
The Company
Ford & Stanley are working in partnership with a well-established and respected supplier to the UK rail industry.
Our Client specialises in the manufacture and supply of hose assemblies, fluid transfer systems and associated components for rolling stock. Their customers include TOCs, ROSCOs, OEMs and depot maintenance providers, and they are widely recognised for their technical expertise and responsive service within the rail supply chain.
The Opportunity
Currently, the business is looking to strengthen its commercial capability by appointing a Rail Sales Consultant / Client Relationship Manager.
This role has been created to support a busy Head of Sales who is currently operating at maximum capacity across quoting, customer management and commercial activity. The successful individual will play a key role in managing customer relationships, supporting quotations, and helping grow business within existing and new rail accounts.
Importantly, this is not a hard-nosed new business role — it’s a consultative, relationship-driven position suited to someone who understands how the rail industry works.
