Modifications Team Leader 
Minimum 13 week Contract
£35.05 per hour umbrella 
45 hours per week 
 
Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking a Modifications Team Leader to support our clients Rail project in Eastleigh, helping drive the project on a day-to-day basis and ensure it is completed in line with project deadlines.

The Opportunity
You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide essential mechanical modifications to the interior and exterior of MK5 Rail carriages.

Key Role and Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating a team of 4 Modification Technicians
• Liaising with senior management and other stakeholders within the project
• Completing mechanical repairs and modifications to the interior and exterior of rolling stock units and components.

Essentials

• NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
• Mechanically experienced
• Previous experience working as a Team Leader/Supervisor
• Previous experience of mechanical building and modifications
• Comfortable with working in and directing a team of Technicians
• Commutable to Eastleigh

Desirables

• Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable
• Experience within a HGV, Military or aviation background
• Have experience using Sika Flex adhesive
