Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Mechanical Technicians to support our clients project in Chester
The Opportunity
You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide repairs and light maintenance to a fleet of trains.
Contract Length: 6 Months, Inside IR35
Location (s): Chester
Key Role and Responsibilities
- Mechanical repairs
- Inspections
- Completing general vehicle checks, including re-filling washer fluids
- General maintenance to rolling stock units
Essentials
- NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
- Mechanical understanding
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts; including lates and weekends
- Enjoy working as part of a team
Desirables
- Commutable to Chester
- Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Trackside safety
