Junior Mechanical Design Engineer - | Chapel-en-le-Frith | Up to £35,000

The UK's leading manufacturer of Overhead Cranes has a key requirement for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer, to play a main role in designing their product line, based at their state of the art newly built offices.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a leading OEM at their newly renovated, state of the art offices. You will be supported heavily by the wider engineering team, on their training programme, as an Entry Level Mechanical Draughtsperson, upskilled to produce bespoke 3D manufacturing drawings for production. With all products manufactured on site, you will see your designs come to life, with exposure to the full product lifecycle.  

Salary: Up to £35,000

The Candidate:

• 3D CAD experience (any package). 
• Experience in a manufacturing environment 
• Experience of a team Environment is key (will be working in an open office of 25 other engineers in this role). 
• HNC/HND qualification. 

Location: Chapel-en-le-Frith

Hours: 8.30 - 5pm (finish at 12.30 Fridays).
