Are you an experienced Room Leader or looking to take the next step in your early years career?

We are looking for a Preschool Room Leader to join the team in a permanent role at this wonderful nursery in Hampstead, NW London!

This is an excellent opportunity either for an already experienced Room Leader or for an Early Years Practitioner with some experience taking on Room Lead responsibilities. You will be supported by a lovely management team who truly care about every member of staff, and will be part of a friendly and welcoming team. There are often team social and team building events!

As Preschool Room Leader, you will:

• Plan, prepare and deliver activities to suit each individual child's stage of development and interests 
• Feed into appraisals, target setting and nursery operations as deemed appropriate by the manager
• Support new team members through inductions in partnership with the manager
• Ensure room checks and outdoor checks are conducted in line with nursery procedures
• Liaise regularly with parents/carers and build strong relationships
• Ensure all record keeping is accurate and up to date
• Support all staff to develop their role within the team especially as a key person

This is a full time role to work either 40 hours across 5 days or 36 hours across 4 days, and is a permanent position to start ASAP. Salary from £32k-£34k per annum.

It is essential that you hold at least a Level 3/equivalent qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and that you have experience working in a nursery - ideally with Room Leader experience.

Located in Hampstead, this nursery is easy to reach thanks to excellent transport links, and is in a great area with Hampstead Heath and other lovely parks close by!
