Teacher of Chemistry
North Wales | Competitive Salary | Full Time, Permanent | September 2026

An independent secondary school in North Wales is recruiting a Teacher of Chemistry to join its Science department. The school offers a broad academic curriculum alongside strong pastoral support, and Chemistry is taught through to A Level as part of a well resourced, popular Science offer.

Class sizes here are smaller than you would typically find in the state sector, giving teachers more scope to get to know their pupils individually and adapt their teaching as a result. What the role involves:

• Teaching Chemistry across KS3, GCSE and A Level
• Delivering practical, engaging lessons within a well equipped Science department
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider Science faculty
• Supporting pupils to achieve strong outcomes while maintaining a positive relationship with the subject

What you need:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
