Job Description

A small and friendly primary school in Cheam are now looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a welcoming environment to work in with helpful and friendly staff who you’ll be working alongside.

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you’ll be:
• Supporting children who have ASD 1:1 and in small groups with a range of activities to ensure good progress in all areas of development
• Ensuring EHCP goals are being met and liaising with the SENCO
• Able to manage behaviour in a calm and effective manner
• Adapting activities to different learning styles

No specific qualifications are required for this role, however experience working with children who have SEN in a school setting is essential. You’ll be working full time from Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
