A successful secondary school with a thriving sixth form in Northamptonshire is seeking a talented Business Studies and Economics Teacher to join its Social Sciences faculty from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Teacher, Economics Teacher or Business and Economics Teacher to teach within a department that values academic rigour, real-world application and intellectual curiosity. Applications are welcomed from teachers of Business Studies, Economics or both subjects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 4 and 5 within a well-established sixth form.

The Social Sciences faculty plays a significant role within the school, offering a range of popular subjects including Business, Economics, Psychology and Sociology. Teachers are passionate about delivering high-quality education, inspiring a love of learning and helping students develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Ability to teach Business Studies and/or Economics
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for the subjects

• The ability to help students connect theory with real-world business and economic issues
