A successful secondary school in Mitcham is looking for a friendly and welcoming Graduate Teaching Assistant to join them from September. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll get to gain skills and experience and explore if a future career in teaching might be for you.

This is a rewarding role where you get to support students across KS3 & KS4 at a variety of abilities, learning skills including behaviour management and adapting lessons. You'll need to be proactive in the classroom and take initiative.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:
• Working with students 1:1 and in small groups to provide extra support
• Assisting teachers to ensure students are engaged in their learning and prepared for exams.
• Preparing learning resources and adapting lesson plans for different levels, including students with SEN

Previous experience supporting children would be beneficial but isn’t essential, just a willingness to learn, so apply now to be considered for this Graduate Teaching Assistant role!
