Location: Buckinghamshire, within easy reach of North West London and the Chilterns
Start: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: MPS to UPS (Fringe pay scale)

Ethos Education is recruiting a Biology Teacher for a high performing secondary school in Buckinghamshire. This is a permanent role starting in September 2026, suitable for an experienced Biology Teacher or an ambitious ECT looking to develop within a strong Science department.

The school has a well established academic culture, with students who are engaged and generally respond well to high expectations. Science is a popular subject area and the department benefits from shared planning, strong uptake at KS5 and a collaborative approach across the team.

The role

• Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach A Level Biology
• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Delivering practical and theory based lessons
• Working within a collaborative Science department

The Science department is organised and well resourced, with clear curriculum structures and shared schemes of work. Students are academically motivated and there is a strong focus on subject knowledge, practical science and examination success.

The candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in Biology or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology
• Confident teaching KS3 and KS4
• Interest or experience in KS5 Biology desirable
