A welcoming and inclusive school in West London is seeking a full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 through to July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are considering a future career in teaching and want to build hands-on experience in a supportive school environment.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils in the classroom, providing 1:1 and small group support for children who need additional help with their learning. You’ll play an important role in helping pupils build confidence, stay engaged, and make strong academic and social progress.
The school is particularly keen to hear from graduates who have prior experience working with children or young people, whether through tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth work, or similar roles. You’ll benefit from working alongside experienced teachers and school leaders, with excellent opportunities to develop your skills and gain insight into the teaching profession.
This role is ideal for graduates who are enthusiastic, patient, and committed to making a positive difference in children’s lives. Many previous Graduate Teaching Assistants have gone on to pursue teacher training and school-based routes to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
