Science Teacher

Location: North Oxfordshire, commutable from Banbury, Warwickshire and South Northamptonshire
Start: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: MPS to UPS

Ethos Education is recruiting a Science Teacher for a secondary school in North Oxfordshire. This is a permanent role starting in September 2026, open to teachers of Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

The school has a strong reputation locally and serves a wide rural catchment. It has a settled feel, with clear systems, good behaviour and a consistent approach across departments. The Science department is established and collaborative, with shared planning and resources already in place.

The role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach KS5 depending on specialism and experience
• Delivering practical and theory based Science lessons
• Preparing students for GCSE Science examinations
• Working within a collaborative Science department

The candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in a Science subject
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
• Confident classroom practice
• Comfortable working within a team environment
