Geography Teacher

Location: South Coast, commutable from Portsmouth and Fareham
Start: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: MPS to UPS

Ethos Education is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a secondary school on the South Coast. This is a permanent role starting in September 2026.

The Humanities department is well organised, with shared resources and a collaborative approach to planning. Geography is a popular subject at GCSE, with students responding well to clear teaching and strong real world links within the curriculum.

The role

• Teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
• Preparing students for GCSE Geography
• Delivering lessons in physical and human geography
• Supporting fieldwork and enrichment opportunities
• Working within a collaborative Humanities department

The candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in Geography or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge
• Confident teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
• Able to build positive classroom relationships
