Science Teacher

Location: West Kent, within reach of Bromley and South East London
Start: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: MPS to UPS 

Ethos Education is recruiting a Science Teacher for a secondary school in West Kent. This is a permanent role starting in September 2026, open to teachers of Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

The school has a settled feel, with clear routines and a strong emphasis on academic progress. The Science department is collaborative, with shared resources and consistent approaches across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. There is also the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on specialism and experience.

The role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach A Level depending on subject specialism
• Delivering practical and theory based Science lessons
• Preparing students for GCSE Science examinations
• Working within a supportive Science department

The candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in a Science subject
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
• Confident classroom practice
• Able to work within a collaborative department
