Salary: MPS to UPS 

Ethos Education is recruiting a Business Studies Teacher for a secondary school in the Canterbury area. This is a permanent role starting in September 2026, suitable for an experienced Business Studies Teacher or an ECT with strong subject knowledge looking to teach motivated students in a high performing environment.

Business is a well regarded subject within the school, with strong uptake into sixth form and consistently positive examination outcomes at both GCSE and A Level. Students are academically focused and lessons tend to be purposeful and engaged.

The role

• Teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level Business
• Delivering clear, structured lessons with strong real world context
• Supporting student progress and examination success
• Contributing to shared planning and departmental resources

The department

The department is organised and collaborative, with shared schemes of work and a consistent approach across the team. Teachers are trusted to teach their subject well, with support in place but without unnecessary interference.

The candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Degree in Business, Economics or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
• Confident teaching KS4 and ideally KS5
• Teaching Economics would be an advantage
