A school that strives to create a caring and nurturing environment now has a fantastic Teaching Assistant opportunity available to start after Easter. Children at this school are encouraged to develop a lifelong love for learning and to have high expectations for academic outcomes.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be assuring that children receive an excellent education and have the core knowledge needed for success in later life. There’s also a real focus on vocabulary development and regular knowledge quizzes to monitor children’s progress.

Part of your role as a Teaching Assistant also includes supporting children with SEN, helping them to integrate into the mainstream class and take part in activities. You’ll also provide some 1:1 support for them if they need a movement break to regulate their emotions.

You’ll be a full time Teaching Assistant working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm and this is a long-term role to last until at least July with the view to continue into next academic year.

Experience working with children previously is required for this Teaching Assistant role, apply now to be considered for interview.
