Job Description

A supportive school in Lambeth who values kindness is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team. This is a varied involving assisting teachers in delivering lessons and ensuring students are engaged.

Other duties for this Primary Teaching Assistant role include:
• Providing individual support to students, including those with SEN, ensuring they’re included in all activities.
• Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages communication with peers.
• Promoting understanding of content, using appropriate methods depending on learning styles.
• Maintaining a clean and safe classroom, ensuring all materials are accessible.
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to monitor student progress.

Skills required for this Primary Teaching Assistant role:
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with children
• Ability to relate to children and younger people to build positive relationships

This role is to begin ASAP and is full time and long term, working from 8:30am-3:30pm.
