Job Description

A friendly and successful primary school in Vauxhall are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to support across all areas of the curriculum.

As a Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:
• Delivering targeted interventions mostly for English and maths
• Promoting inclusion through the development of language, social skills and emotional skills.
• Liaising with colleagues and senior members of staff
• Working with SEND pupils 1:1 or in small groups

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll need to display a high level of initiative and have the ability to react to situations calmly and compassionately. This role is full time and long-term temporary until at least July with the possibility to become permanent at a later date.
