This welcoming and vibrant nursery in Walthamstow is currently searching for an Early Years Practitioner to join the friendly and hardworking team of staff.   
   
Located in the heart of Walthamstow, this nursery has plenty of transport links nearby including tube stations and bus stops, as well as offering a cycle to work scheme, making it very easy to get to! This is a lovely nursery, with specialist rooms and a private outdoor space for extended learning and play. 

A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential and previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting would be desirable for this Early Years Practitioner role.   

As an Early Years Practitioner, your duties will include:    

• Assisting children with development of early reading and early maths skills   
• Encouraging development through play and exploration   
• Planning and leading lessons and activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity  
• Building an environment that is supportive and inspiring, allowing every child to grow at their own pace   
• Following the EYFS curriculum to assist with early literacy skills development   
• Providing general care and support for children in the nursery 
• Observing and assessing children’s progress  

This is a full time and permanent Early Years Practitioner role, with immediate start.
