About the Chemistry Teacher role

The successful Chemistry Teacher will teach Chemistry across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE Chemistry. The role includes delivering practical chemistry lessons, teaching chemical theory, planning and assessment, and contributing to a collaborative science department.

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
• Teach Chemistry at KS3 and KS4
• Deliver GCSE Chemistry lessons
• Plan and sequence chemistry curriculum content
• Support practical laboratory work safely and effectively
• Use assessment to track progress and support attainment

• Qualified Chemistry Teacher with QTS
• Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
• Confident teaching GCSE Chemistry
• Clear classroom management and routines
• Enjoys working within a structured department
