A secondary school in South West London is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join the computing department on a full time, permanent basis. This role is suitable for an experienced Computer Science Teacher or an early career Teacher of Computer Science who wants to teach a well structured curriculum with clear routines and strong departmental support.

About the Computer Science Teacher role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will teach Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will deliver lessons in:
• Programming and coding
• Computational thinking
• Algorithms and data representation
• Computer systems and networks
• GCSE Computer Science foundations

The Computer Science Teacher will plan and deliver well sequenced lessons, use assessment to track progress and work as part of a collaborative computing department with shared resources and clear expectations.

About you

You will be a qualified Computer Science Teacher who:
• Has QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and Computing
• Is confident teaching programming and theory
• Maintains clear classroom routines
• Wants a full time Computer Science teaching job in South West London
