Contract Full term, January to Easter

A secondary school in Barnet is looking for a Music Teacher to cover the spring term from January to Easter. This is a great opportunity for a teacher who enjoys practical, creative lessons and a well organised performing arts department.

About the role

You will teach Music across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Your work will include:
• Teaching practical and classroom based music lessons
• Supporting students with performance, composition and listening work
• Contributing to department planning and shared resources
• Encouraging confidence and participation in musical activities
• Taking part in rehearsals or clubs where possible

About you

You will be a qualified Music Teacher who:
• Has secure subject knowledge
• Enjoys teaching both practical and theoretical music
• Maintains calm routines and clear expectations
• Builds positive relationships with students
• Can commit for the full term
