A large and high performing secondary school in North London is seeking a Girls’ PE Teacher to join a well organised and successful PE department. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who loves practical, energetic lessons and who values a culture where sport, fitness and physical wellbeing are central to school life.

The PE department has clear routines, strong participation and a positive team ethos. This role suits a Girls’ PE Teacher who enjoys coaching, leading enrichment and delivering inclusive lessons in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

About the role

• Teach Girls’ PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Deliver a broad curriculum including team sports, individual disciplines and fitness programmes
• Contribute to an extensive extracurricular programme
• Plan high quality lessons that build skills, confidence and teamwork
• Create a safe and encouraging environment for girls to enjoy sport
• Work closely with colleagues in a collaborative department with supportive leadership

About you

You will be a qualified Girls’ PE Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people. You will enjoy building confidence, modelling active lifestyles and delivering structured, engaging lessons. Strong communication and a positive approach to teamwork are essential.
