Reception Class Teacher – Slough, Berkshire
An inspiring opportunity for a passionate Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established Early Years team in Slough. This large, inclusive primary school offers a nurturing start to learning where curiosity, language and play are at the centre of every day.
The Early Years team is highly experienced and exceptionally supportive, creating a collaborative environment where teachers share ideas, reflect together and celebrate every small success. The curriculum is thoughtfully structured and fully planned, giving you the freedom to focus on high-quality teaching, warm relationships and the unique needs of each child.
This role would suit an ECT ready to begin their career in a strong, well-mentored environment, or a KS1 teacher seeking to build experience in Early Years. Whichever stage you are at, you will be part of a team that values professional development, reflective practice and joyful, child-centred learning.
Children here are encouraged to explore, problem-solve and express themselves through talk, story and play. Classrooms are calm, purposeful and language-rich, supported by knowledgeable teaching assistants and excellent resources both indoors and outdoors.
We are looking for:
A qualified Reception or Early Years Teacher with QTS
A creative, caring teacher who believes in child-centred learning
Someone who enjoys teamwork and values professional growth
A reflective practitioner who brings energy, patience and warmth to the classroom
This is a full-time, permanent position from January 2026 or sooner.
If you are ready to join a school where Early Years education truly matters and where children are given the best possible start, we would love to hear from you.
