Job Description

A diverse and friendly nursery in Carshalton is now looking for a caring and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join the dedicated team of staff, to start as soon as possible.  
   
At least a Level 2 Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Early Years Practitioner position.   

As a full time working Early Years Practitioner, you will:      

• Assist children with their early reading and literacy and early maths skills development  
• Have good knowledge of early childhood development  
• Lead and encourage interactive play and learning sessions, following the EYFS curriculum 
• Support personal, social and emotional development  
• Encourage child led activities that are stimulating for their imagination and creativity  
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and support the nursery management team 
• Carry out observations and assessments

This is a permanent Early Years Practitioner role to work 40 hours a week in an outstanding Carshalton nursery where every member of staff is supported and valued, as shown through the bonuses paid throughout the year.
