As a Primary Teaching Assistant, your duties will include:

• Assisting the teacher with preparing lesson materials
• Supporting children with SEN so that they can complete work tailored to their ability
• Managing classroom behaviour calmly and effectively
• Working with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the classroom

For the successful Primary Teaching Assistant, this role is long term and full time. There may also be potential for a permanent contract later down the line. Previous experience working in a school is needed for this Primary Teaching Assistant role as well as good knowledge of the UK curriculum.
