Job Description

A school based in Morden that values community and positivity is now seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team. As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of the team as you provide high quality support in the classroom.

The school is inclusive so as a Teaching Assistant you’ll sometimes be supporting children with SEN so that they can access the full curriculum and participate in classroom activities. You’ll also be assisting the class teacher by supporting during interventions for topics such as phonics and spelling.

Experience working with children ideally in a school setting is required for this Teaching Assistant role as well as good interpersonal skills. If you’re successful, you’ll be working at the school as a long term and full time Teaching Assistant and a permanent position may be available later down the line.
